This 4-week course aims to encourage and equip you to Step Out and be used by God in natural and Spirit-led ways among your co-workers, clients, and others you engage with in your workplace. If you want to grow as someone who can share the good news of Christ with others and develop skills to help new believers grow in their relationship with Christ, this course is for you!
With a mix of solid teaching, lively interviews, and small group discussions, we'll explore the biblical foundations of personal disciple making as we focus on developing practical skills for fruitful evangelism and discipleship in the context of where we work.
This class may have some reading assigned between classes.
The class will be led by Dr. Jerry White, International President Emeritus of the Navigators - an international Christian organization with over 4,000 staff ministering in 105 countries. Dr. White first met The Navigators as an undergraduate student at the University of Washington. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Astronautics from Purdue University in 1970 and started the Navigator ministry there. Additionally, he served in the AirForce for 37 years - including teaching astronautics at the AirForce Academy - and started the Navigator ministry at the Academy. He retired from the AirForce in 1997 as a major general. He served as international president until 2005.
