This reading group is a natural extension of the Deconstruction class held this past Winter, but it is open to all who are interested. Our aim is to discuss questions of doubt, belonging, truth, beauty, vocation, prayer, and Christian life in a divided and disorienting age. The hope is to create a thoughtful, welcoming space for honest conversation about both deconstruction and the possibility of faithful reconstruction.
To facilitate discussion, each meeting will be focused on a key article from classic writers such as C. S. Lewis, Dorothy Sayers, Martin Luther King Jr., and G.K. Chesterton and modern writers such as Tish Harrison Warren, Gregory Thompson, and Esau MacCulley. We will begin with three pre-selected pieces and then entertain a menu selected by the group. Since we will work from individual readings, meetings will not be closely tied together, and members can attend as their schedules allow.
TEACHER/LEADER: Mark & Jenny Jensen, professors of philosophy at the Air Force Academy and UCCS.
This class is intended for all, this class will have some homework. Childcare is not provided.
Registration opens on Monday, May 18, 2026
