Nashville Serving Day 2

Waking up on day two, the Nashville team headed back to Proclamation church to get to work. We cleaned out several rooms of old and unused stuff, avoided rat poison, picked up trash in the courtyard while fighting the heat and bugs, and loading over a dozen boxes of books from an overflowing library to be donated. After lunch, we dispersed to finish small tasks or play games. A few rounds of silent football resulted with the looser's punishments being vaccuming. We headed back to the hotel for a rest before VBS, where we played card games and a phone had a miraculous survival after being dropped down an elevator shaft. We headed back to the church for VBS, where the kids learned about Magnifying the Lord through epic games, dances, skits, and crafts. And we learned about how awesome Proclamation's community is, our own unique roles through the day, and ended the day with fireflies and testimonies.
