Watch this brief video from Pastor Josh to find out what’s new and exciting this fall at Woodmen. Then check out 10 great opportunities below for you to find community and join in the life of the church as we seek to love well and change lives through Christ.
GROWING IN COMMUNITY
The second chapter of the book of Acts gives us a glimpse into the life of the first-century church: Christ-followers gathering in homes, studying God’s word, breaking bread and participating in close community. What if we could follow their example? That’s where Community Groups come in! Groups gather in homes throughout the year, opening up the scriptures, doing life together, and growing in faith and understanding. New groups kick off next week, so now is the time to join! Find your group RIGHT HERE.
THE GREAT PURSUIT
Does God pursue us, or does He call us to pursue Him? The answer is, "All of the above!" Join us for worship this weekend as Pastor Josh opens up the Gospel of Luke for a brand new teaching series called The Great Pursuit. Together, we’ll explore the hope and the promise Jesus offers. We’ll discover how we can accept His invitation to live lives of purpose today — lives shaped by the words and the ways of Christ.

DISCIPLESHIP INSTITUTE: JESUS IN SCRIPTURE’S UNFOLDING STORY
If you’d like to dive deeper into the way of Jesus, to better understand the core beliefs and practices that have united Christ followers throughout the centuries, check out Discipleship Institute. Next week we begin a four-week bundled course called, Jesus in Scripture’s Unfolding Story. You can attend any one of the four one-weeks, but we think you’ll want to be part of all four sessions:
- A Literary and Theological Exploration of Luke-Acts
- How to Read the Gospels Wisely
- Getting to Know Jesus through the Old Testament
- What Happened at the Cross? A look at Church History
We’ll meet on Monday nights at Rockrimmon, beginning next week. You’ll come away from these courses with a deeper understanding of the grand gospel story, and how all of the Bible points to Christ. To sign up or find out more, CLICK HERE.
