Salt Lake City Day #5

Today was our last full day of the trip! The days have gone by so fast. First, today we went to the second place of The Sandlot set up. We played three innings. Team 2 won!!! Right after that we ate lunch in the dugout and we went to a nearby restaurant to eat ice cream!! While we were waiting for other people to finish slurping their ice cream, we played a game called Hidden Numbers where we tried to guess what number from 1-10 the pens formed. 

Then, we went to the pool where the pool scene from The Sandlot was filmed. It was very different than we expected, because they updated it a lot. They added a lot of slides, and we went on all of them. Then we went to the pool part of the area, and we played pool games. We played a different game where we tried to guess an animal, and every time we got it wrong, someone dunked us. Then when we guessed it right they make us do a backflip. After that we all went to VBS!!! ohmygosh

This was the last VBS of the week. Some of our friends conveniently asked the craft ladies to give us some glitter and pompoms and we were so surprised to see that the box of pompoms that they gave us was filled with at least 50 pompoms! We all got so many pompoms and smudged glitter paint on our pretty faces. The worship team did so well on the last 3 songs and all the kids got to watch some of the church leaders got slimed! It was hilarious and the slime tasted good. For dinner we had ice cream! Then after the last VBS was done we had to clean up all of the pompom pieces off of the floor and it was so tiring. But it was worth it because the people who worked at the church didn't have to pick them up. When we got back to our hotel, we had to rip the glitter paint off of our faces. The paint was so satisfying to rip off but it also ripped off skin off our pretty faces. Tomorrow we will help Alfred at a high school community garden, then we are gonna go to East High, the place where High School Musical was filmed before we head home!
