Mexico June 25 Day 4
Today was a full but praise worthy day! We kicked off the day with fresh fruit, eggs, and beans. The fruit is so amazing. We worked hard until with 1 pm with work projects. Your kids are amazing workers that were determined to meet a goal of finishing the projects. Most of the girls were painting today and made such great progress. We have a small amount left to do on Saturday. Some girls cleaned the basketball court with soap and water.
The guys worked so hard taking down a fence. This was not an easy tasks. They had to cut the fence off first. Next, was the digging out of the wood posts and concrete. They are rock stars, working so hard, the entire time. We stopped, cleaned up, and headed to lunch. Lunch was amazing also. We had a little bit of free time to nap, hang out, play games, or just rest. We set off for the 2nd village visit. What a beautiful scene awaited us. The church already had people waiting on us. We ran our prgram for the night, loved on kids, helped pass out treats, and spoke as much Spanish as we could. I must brag on how your students are trying so very hard to communicate with the villagers. They are learning and doing so good! To wrap it up, we had a powerful debriefing session! Four people shared their testimonies and we had space to listen, talk, pray, and encourage each other. Time is going by so fast and we are working hard. We miss our family but are so excited to see what God is doing in Mexico and our lives.
