Hello everyone!
Today was a wonderful day of fellowship and laughter.
We started off with a delicious breakfast of pancakes and strawberry jam graciously made by Christine, a hospitality staff member here at CURE Kenya. Shortly after, we joined the CURE staff for their daily morning devo, then broke out into our various hospital stations (some members of the team even witnessed a few surgeries!). We served in the various departments for the morning, broke for tea, and later had a delicious lunch of multiple chapati and chips (french fries).
After lunch we switched up the routine and left to a local orphanage to do a program organized by one of the CURE pastors. After performing a skit and singing songs of praise, Graham gave an amazing sermon to the children. Next, we had a joy-filled time outside with the children. With another tea time with the orphanage founder and mother Anne, we said tough goodbyes to the staff and children of the home and headed back to Kijabe for dinner and debrief.
Praise be to God for continued safety, security and health for the team and the people we've interacted with here in Kenya.
Thanks for reading. Seriously. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
