Zambia JULY 2025

What's up from Daniel and Madi! Today we were able to get some extra sleep before we started our day, which helped some us feel rested but some still needed more. We went straight into home visits. We meet a boy named Benjamin who was at CURE when he was only two weeks old and now he is 10. The last time the CURE staff saw him he was 8 and he was walking with crutches but today was the first time they saw him walking on his own! The last home visit was with Meshach and Emmanuel. Their dad shared with us that he did not know Christ until coming to CURE. We were so encouraged to hear that. Then we went to pizza inn and devoured a lot of pizza.

We got back to CURE Isaac, Brekken, and Madi went to go watch a bow leg surgery. The rest of the team went into the hospital and put on a skit in front of the patients and their parents. Caroline spoke again and then the rest of the time we hung out with the kids. Brekken, Isaac, and Madi came back from the surgery and we all hung outside on the playground, some of us went into the ward and hung out with the kids there. For the rest of the night we made dinner, had debrief. Our host Aunt Lillian's birthday is the 19th so tonight some of the team made the cake. While others are helping around the house. We are excited for our adventure day tomorrow! Goodnight everyone!
