Tulsa Day 5

Hello to whoever sees this! My name is Jason and I’m going to tell you a little bit about out day. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to the kids. We went to a trampoline park where we had fun with our group of k-4th graders, and just chilled at our church for a good chunk of the day. I’m excited to go to the waterpark tomorrow after a long week of hard work. Today we also went to the John 3:16 refuge (aka farm) and helped move mulch, stain benches, power wash an ATV, and clean windows. I helped with staining benches, and I had a great time serving with John 3:16. I was so excited to see my group of 4th graders to say goodbye to them. It’s crazy to see how far they’ve come from having a rough start on day one, to being where they are now. I wish I had more time with them and continue to make better connections with each and every one of them. My intern in my room, Quinten, is a great guy and I’m glad I could work alongside him throughout the week. Although at times some of the kids were a bit unfocused, I had a great time in my room. I hope we can all have enough energy for tomorrow, and even though we aren’t going to serve anywhere, I hope to see God throughout the day wherever we go next. Thank you for reading this.

Sincerely,

Jason
